Lilongwe 18 June 2020:
Tama Farmers Trust today held its 32nd Annual Congress at it Head Office in Lilongwe under the theme ‘Good Agricultural Labour Practices; a Necessity for improved International Agricultural Trade’.
Covid19 measures dictated that the meeting is held with only substantiated delegates and without external media coverage.
However, JTI Malawi provided presenters on the theme in the name of Lars Gruner, Director of Agronomy and Kondwani Nyemba, Agronomy Planning & Analysis Manager who presented virtually from their respective places.
ARET’s CEO Dr. Albert Changaya also presented on various aspects surrounding the tobacco industry including encouraging growers to use certified seed and use of research findings the firm releases.
